It can be challenging to build a company from scratch. Oftentimes, founders think that they need a lot of money, to get their company going in the first place. Christoph Behn chose a different path and bootstrapped his company right from the beginning. In this episode we go through the pros and cons of bootstrapping and his practical advice on how to bootstrap. The three biggest advantages of bootstrapping: You keep control of your company, you increase the likelihood of building a great product, because you have to spend more time with your customers and it automatically forces you to sharpen your focus. The downside: You probably won't be famous, since the start-up ecosystem mostly cares about crazy financing rounds.
